A: You can apply for hall through the NUS UHMS Application Portal! Please do visit https://www.nus.edu.sg/osa/student-services/hostel-admission/undergraduate for more information.

Q: How do I experience what Sheares Hall is like before application?

A: Sheares Hall has many exciting events following the application period! Many Freshman visit Sheares during our Annual Immersh Open House, as well as the Sheares Engagement Camp (SECC)!

Q: How many years can I stay in hall?

A: Upon your acceptance letter into NUS Halls and successful payment of acceptance fee, you will have a confirmed stay for that Academic Year. However, there is a point system that determines whether you can continue your stay for subsequent years.

Q: How many points do I need to stay in Sheares? What is the point system?

A: The exact number of points vary each year, but the number of CCAs and activities you join will determine the number of points you get from that CCA, and how committed you are! As long you stay committed, it is not difficult to garner enough points!

Q: Is Sheares location convenient?

A: Yes! Sheares Hall is located a 5min walk away from the NUS Business School and the nearest NUS Bus Stop! Furthermore, Sheares is located 5min away from the nearest Public Bus Stop at Heng Mui Keng Terrace!
